1st Vespa meeting in Haiger
Klingspor for a good cause
On 7 September 2025, the “Rusty Helmets” club organised their first Vespa meeting in Haiger. Initiator Markus Hoffmann, company locksmith at Klingspor for 33 years, and his club collected donations for “Herzenswünsche e.V.”, an organisation that fulfils the wishes of severely ill children. Klingspor supported the campaign with 150 high-visibility vests. Around 259 Vespa fans took part, and there was music, a raffle and a children’s choir. In the end, 16,000 euros were collected – a great success, and a second get-together will certainly follow

Sales Germany and Switzerland meet for their autumn conference
On September 10 & 11, the Sales colleagues from back office and field service came together at the Haiger headquarters to set the course for the last quarter of 2025. Divided in three small groups according to region, our colleagues saw product demonstrations and received the latest updates from Marketing, Business Development and E-Commerce. The current sales campaign with a handy toolbox was presented, and all participants were enthusiastic about it. Not quite two months old, the box was already sold out in Germany.

Klingspor Vienna with new premises
“Pack your bags, folks!” was the motto for Klingspor Vienna on 1 August 2025. The small sales company changed location.
Still in Vienna but much more near the centre, the new address in a grand old building provides sufficient space for offices and a little warehouse. The new address is Nikolsdorfer Gasse 1, Top 11-12, 1050 Vienna; it is only two metro stops away from St. Stephen’s Cathedral.

Farewell after more than 60 years of Klingspor experience
After more than 60 years at Klingspor, two Klingspor veterans are retiring. Dirk Hebel, who joined the company in 1989 as the successor to his own father Heinz Hebel, was responsible at Klingspor for the management of liquidity and financial resources, risk management (e.g. currency and interest rate risks), financial planning and taxes, making a vital contribution to the company’s solid financial position. Jürgen Damster, employed at Klingspor since 2000, worked in production control, where he carried forward the optimisation of work systems to make processes more efficient and boost productivity. We wish both colleagues a relaxed commencement of their retirements and all the best for this new stage of their lives.
